Bouldering
New Zealand has one of the world’s top bouldering areas at Castle Hill, in inland Canterbury.
Other bouldering areas include Baring Head and Turakirae Head, near Wellington, in the North Island. In the South Island there is quality bouldering at Jardines, near Queenstown, and on the south coast at Curio Bay.
