The Climber magazine

The Climber is New Zealand's dedicated climbing magazine for NZAC members and the NZ climbing community.

Published quarterly, The Climber covers new routes, access, people, huts, environmental issues, new products, safety issues, training, techniques, and books, as well as New Zealand Alpine Club news. Guides to new areas are a regular feature, together with in-depth feature articles.

The Climber is free with NZAC membership. A subscription, within NZ, is $28 for a year (four issues - saving $7.80 on purchasing retail). An extra $20 p&p is required for an overseas subscription. The standard cover price is $8.95
