Mount Aspiring National Park Huts
This beautiful large stone hut is situated only a few hours walk up the Matukituki Valley in the heart of the Aspiring mountains. A great location with attractions for all the family.
Built in 2000, this new hut high on French Ridge is an accessible location for those wanting to experience NZ's sub alpine environment and for those gaining access to the Bonar Glacier.
Colin Todd sits on the shoulder of the awesome Mount Aspiring, the Matterhorn of the South. It provides a base for many exciting and fun climbing objectives and adventures.
This cute little hut is located on the col of Mount Earnslaw and is used by parties visiting this mountain and surrounding area. A beautiful and accessible spot to visit whether or not you are aiming to climb.
This is a wonderful historic hut in the lower reaches of the Matukituki Valley. This hut is locked and is available only to pre approved NZAC members, parties or groups.
