Club Nights are at Turnbull House on the first unimpeded Monday of every month. 

New and prospective members are welcome. 

Meetings and talks start at 8:00pm with club business and tea and coffee afterwards. 
Meet for dinner at the Backbencher public bar at 6:30pm and on to Turnbull House at 7:30pm for a catch up.

Tim Church & Yvonne Pfluger - Nigeng Gonnga

Late last year Tim Church and Yvonne Pfluger travelled to Sichuan Province in Western China to attempt the unclimbed peak Xiangqiuqieke.  They encountered difficulties with the local Tibetans' religious beliefs and a range of other issues on their journey.  Nevertheless, they were determined to achieve a first ascent, even if this meant resorting to Plan D.  Their presentation will cover their travel story, exploration of the remote Chinese/Tibetan border areas and the climb of Nideng Gonnga (5690m).
