Central North Island Section

The Central North Island Section was established in 1987 and includes the Coromandel, Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Taupo.

Meetings
Monthly section meetings are held 7:30pm, on the second Wednesday of the month, at
St Stephens Church Hall at the corner of Mahoe Street and Ohaupo Road, Hamilton.

Gear Hire
Ice axes, crampons, safety helmet, harness (with karabiner & figure 8 descender)
- $15 per item/weekend, $30 per set/weekend
Transceivers - $15 per weekend (no discount)
Snow shovels, ice hammers - $15 per item/weekend
NOTE: CNI Section members receive 30% discount on standard rates

The Central North Island and Auckland Sections are responsible for the Ruapehu Hut maintenance programme.
