Annual General Meeting

Book Auction

Recently the NZAC was donated an extensive collection of books to auction off with all proceeds going to the Club. The books have been organised into 49 lots which are easiest viewed on Facebook here. If you are not a fan of Facebook, please see the listings here and the photos here. You should be able to match the lot number to the number of the photo.

There will also be a table of assorted paperbacks ($5 each) and hardbacks ($10 each) available.

Keep an eye on TradeMe in the coming weeks for full sets of the Canterbury Mountaineers and New Zealand Alpine Journal which are also going to become available.

Bidding

This auction will be held live directly after the AGM. The auction books have reserves so they will only be sold if they reach an appropriate price. If you cannot make it to the auction, please try and find a proxy to vote on your behalf. We are a small team running this event and do not have the resources to cope with a large number of electronic voters. However, if you absolutely must have one of the lots and cannot find a proxy, please contact Karen.

Payment

Payment will be collected on the night from all non-members. Please come armed with cash or a credit card – we do not have EFTPOS facilities. If you are a member you can pay on the night by cash or credit card, or you can direct deposit into our bank account the following day.

This is a very significant donation to the Club and we want to make the most of it. Please share this notice far and wide so that we can get the best possible price for this wonderful collection. Bid generously, and help us do what we do best which is supporting climbing in New Zealand.
