More than 2 years in the making, the long-awaited new edition of the Queenstown climbing guidebook is to be released this December. Author: Guillaume Charton

Guillaume Charton left the French Alps in 2001 to settle in New Zealand and study seismology, before moving into a career in education. He has climbed around the world and published articles and photographs in the climbing press. Several of his movies have been screened at the New Zealand Mountain Film Festival. He has devoted much of his time to setting up and running the Queenstown Climbing Club and putting up hundreds of routes in the area. He authored the first and co-authored the second sold-out editions of the Queenstown climbing guidebook.
