Description
The Climber is New Zealand’s dedicated climbing magazine for NZAC members and the NZ climbing community. Published quarterly, individual copies can be purchased or renewable yearly subscriptions are available.
The Climber covers access, people, huts, environmental issues, new products, safety issues, training, techniques, books, New Zealand Alpine Club news, and has regular in-depth feature articles.
Thanks to the generous donation of the Magazines from Club members and spares held in stock, the Club has been able to complete several sets for our Library and Hocken Archive collections. Any surplus Magazines are for sale. Understandably, as some of the early Magazines are secondhand with some wear and tear and many of the later ones have also been in storage, magazines are sold on an “as is” basis.
