The NZAC Tititea Aspiring and the Otago Alps Guidebook launch, held on September 5th, 2024, at Ground Up Brewing, Wanaka, was a fantastic night filled with book purchases, exciting talks, and plenty of smiles. We extend our gratitude to Clare Kearney for her wonderful MCing, the authors, and our guest speakers for their interesting presentations.

It features illustrated talks by the guidebook authors, Neil Sloan and Nick Shearer, as well as guest speakers David Norton, who explores the flora and fauna of Tititea/Mt Aspiring, and Geoff Wayatt, who delves into the stories of the first ascensionists, the changing face of the mountain, and the future of climbing in the region.
