AGM, Club Rules and Annual Reports
New Zealand Alpine Club Constitution
In 2024 and 2025 the Club went through a process to update its rules so they would align with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022. The new constitution (as it is now known) was ratified by a Club-wide electronic vote, which closed on December 3rd, 2025. Requiring a 67% majority to pass, the constitution was passed with 99.7% approval.
The rules were registered with the Incorporated Societies registrar on 16th January 2026.
Annual General Meeting
The NZAC Annual General Meeting AGM is usually held either late October or early November each year. The meeting follows the production of the Club’s Annual Report for the prior financial year, which runs from 1 July to 30 June.
