The Pursuit - Skiing Mt Tasman/Horokoau

Last November, Wānaka based freeskiers Janina Kuzma and Sam Smoothy attempted to climb Mt Tasman/Horokoau and make a ski descent via the Stevenson-Dick Couloir. They worked with local filmmaker Jase Hancox for the project and have now released a short film about the attempt and the preparation going into it. It's a really interesting watch as Janina transfers her skills from a career as one of New Zealand's most successful competition skiers to committing lines in the big mountains. you can read more about Janina's experience on the project here.
