In November – December 2021, Alastair McDowell and Hamish Fleming completed a single-push, human-powered enchainment of all the 3000m peaks of New Zealand. This feat of logistics, perseverence, endurance and technical ability was described in detail by Al in his article for the New Zealand Alpine Journal here.

What wasn't mentioned in the article is that Al and Hamish had shot POV video footage throughout their adventure. This footage has now been assembled, along with extra footage and interviews by filmmaker Nick Kowalski. His film is a fantastic document of the adventure and essential viewing for anyone with an interest in New Zealand mountaineering. Watch via the link above.
