Lydia Bradey Appears On Alex Honnold's Climbing Gold Podcast
New Zealand's own Lydia Bradey has appeared on the Climbing Gold podcast, co-hosted by most-famous-climber-in-the-world Alex Honnold. In the episode, Lydia discusses her little-known exploits in '80s Yosemite, where she made the first female ascents of many of the hardest aid lines of the day. The fact that Alex is disturbed by tales of zippering all the gear on scary aid pitches should be enough to communicate how significant some of this climbing was. The podcast then continues, inevitably, to Lydia's most famous climb—the 1988 ascent of Mt Everest without oxygen.
