Only a day after the Olympic climbing fever was peaking and the very first Olympic gold medals had been awarded to climbers, the final round of the 2021 National Indoor Bouldering Series was set to be a blast. With the overall placements in NIBS still not decided going into the last competition, there was a great turn-out from up and down the country by some of the strongest contenders to try to secure a podium at Northern Rocks in Auckland.
